Toys for Tots

LEWISTON—Toys for Tots, a 501(c)(3) charity, will be collecting toys and donations over the next few weeks. For 78 years, the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots program has been the official “Santa’s Helper,” gathering toys and bringing joy to millions of children around the nation. The campaign is being led by Marine Corps Sgt. Jason Brown.

Members from the Sgt. Maj. Linehan Detachment of the Marine Corps League will be standing in front of the Clarkston Walmart over the next 2 weekends collecting toys and monetary donations.

Toys For Tots accepts new, unused, and unwrapped toys. We collect for children from ages 0-15. We often run out of toys for ages 8-15 and ask the public to consider them as well when shopping for toys. Some acceptable toys or items are craft kits, makeup sets, Legos, Nerf guns, and fishing items/poles, to name a few things.

Group 2, Grouped object St. Vincent de Paul in Clarkston, WA, is currently collecting names for toys for the Lewiston/Clarkston Valley.

Moscow/Pullman can contact the ROTC office at the University of Idaho.
